Save The Children

Save The Children approached us to create an advertising platform for their Localism initiative. Their intention with the initiative was to raise awareness on a local level, highlighting the numerous volunteering opportunities, and ultimately recruit new volunteers to the STC family.

This pilot scheme rolled out in four towns/cities across the UK and has two defined target audiences; students/young professionals (18-25s) and more senior members of the community (55-65s).

Being mindful of the budgetary constraints of the project, we delivered a range of creative solutions that included illustration and typographic options, as well as a photographic solution. All of which had to portray the message of ‘community spirit’ and ‘togetherness’ on a local level, but also allude to the greater good achieved on a global level.

"It was great to work with the guys at Yolk as they took time to fully understand our business, the brief which enabled them to come up with creative solutions to the challenge we were looking to address. They were flexible, open to suggestion, turned around high quality work and delivered on a tight timeline"
